Newcomers Mark, Neil, Robin, Nick, Ian and Mark arrived en masse for their pool induction. Mark H and Steve split the group into two, and took them through the various routines - club background, pool safety, spotting / dealing with Samba / blackout, equipment, static apnea and dynamic apnea. The group were all enthusiastic, and showed good promise as responsible freedivers. Welcome to all of you, and hope to see some of you next week.
Lucia, Theo and Irvine all came along to practise their dynamic. Irvine was awarded a late Christmas present of the 'club' wetsuit, which Shaun Houseman had kindly donated some time back.
The pool fees ended up with £6 left over, and £3 accidentally overpaid to the Scuba group. Mark H is in possession of the extra, and will forward this on to the BFA when he next renews his membership.
